Stryder Group of Companies Appoints Mark Miller as President of the Warehousing Group

The Stryder Group of Companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Miller as President of the Warehousing Group. A respected industry leader with more than three decades of experience across terminal operations, transloading, warehousing, and intermodal logistics, Mark brings deep operational expertise and strong industry relationships to Stryder’s growing footprint.
Mark is currently serving as Chairman of the Washington Trucking Association for the 2025-2027 term and is widely recognized for his leadership within the North American transportation and logistics community. In his new role, he will oversee Stryder’s US warehousing strategy and operations, with a focus on scalable growth, operational excellence, and integrated service delivery across key US markets.

A native of Shelton, Washington, Mark is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York, where he earned a degree in Marine Transportation. He is the former CEO and Owner of MacMillan-Piper and Tacoma Transload, where he led the development and operation of critical transload and warehousing infrastructure serving the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to his work in transloading and warehousing, Mark spent 20 years in stevedoring and terminal operations throughout the US West Coast. His experience includes oversight of terminal, vessel, rail, bulk, breakbulk, military, auto, and RORO operations, giving him a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of port-centric and inland logistics.
In addition to his role with the Washington Trucking Associations, Mark serves on the Board of the American Trucking Associations Intermodal Conference and the Harbor Trucking Association, and is a past President of the Transportation Club of Tacoma.
